When to Reassign

Driver calls out sick

Vehicle breaks down

Customer requests time change

Emergency service needed

Route running behind

How to Reassign a Single Stop

Open the route

Click on the stop

Click Reassign

Select the new driver/route

Confirm the change

The original driver's app updates automatically.

Moving Multiple Stops

Hold Shift and click multiple stops

Click Bulk Reassign

Choose destination route

Confirm

Drag-and-Drop Between Routes

In the dispatch view:

Open both routes side-by-side

Drag stops from one route to another

Drop in the desired position

Notifications

When you reassign:

Original driver is notified

New driver receives the stop

Route times recalculate

Customer is NOT notified (unless you choose to)

Best Practices

Communicate with drivers before reassigning

Check the new route's capacity

Consider drive time impacts

Document the reason for reassignment
