# Choose Report Recipients and Validate Delivery Settings

Overview

Recipient quality is the #1 factor in successful scheduled report delivery.

Recipient Rules

PortaPro validates email formats before sending.

Duplicate emails are automatically deduplicated.

Recipient lists are capped to protect deliverability and provider limits.

Invalid emails are rejected instead of silently sent.

Recommended Recipient Structure

Primary owner or finance lead

Accountant/bookkeeper

Backup internal operations contact

Validation Checklist

Remove personal inboxes that are no longer monitored.

Avoid typos (`gmial.com`, `yaho.com`, etc.).

Use business-domain addresses where possible.

Confirm each recipient expects recurring tax/finance reports.

If a Recipient Is Invalid

Delivery may be skipped or partially sent depending on configuration.

Review delivery history for validation-related errors.
