Staff Settings and Tech View

Staff Settings control how your team members can interact with the system, particularly regarding job assignments and the Tech View feature.

Enable Tech View for Admin/Dispatch Staff

Tech View allows non-driver staff to use the mobile Driver App interface:

When Enabled:

Individual admins and dispatchers can be granted Tech View access

These staff members can be assigned to jobs

They can access the Driver App for field work

When Disabled:

Only designated drivers can access Tech View

Job assignments limited to driver-role users

Step 1: Enable the Feature

Navigate to Settings → Company

Find Staff Settings card

Toggle Enable Tech View for Admin/Dispatch Staff

Step 2: Grant Individual Access

Go to Settings → Company → User Management

Click Edit on a user's profile

Toggle Can Access Tech View (only visible when feature is enabled)

Save changes

Office staff covering field routes during busy periods

Owners who want to access both admin and driver views

Dispatchers who occasionally perform field work
