PortaPro's filtering system allows you to apply multiple filters simultaneously. Filters work together using AND logic, meaning jobs must match ALL selected criteria to appear in results.

How Combined Filtering Works

When you apply multiple filters:

Each filter narrows the results further

Jobs must satisfy every active filter condition

The more filters applied, the more specific the results

Example: Finding Specific Jobs

Scenario: Find all in-progress deliveries for Driver John today

| Filter | Setting |

|--------|---------|

| Date | Today's date |

| Driver | John Smith |

| Job Type | Delivery |

| Status | In Progress |

Result: Only shows delivery jobs assigned to John that are currently in progress.

Active Filter Count Badge

The Filters button displays a badge showing active filter count:

0 (no badge): No filters applied

1-4: Shows number of active filters

Helps you remember when filters are limiting results

Clearing Filters

Clear All Filters

Open the Filters Flyout

Click "Clear All" in the header

All filters reset to default ("All" selections)

Clear Individual Filters

Reset any dropdown to "All" option

Clear search field by clicking the X

Filter Persistence

Filters persist during your browsing session

Switching views (Calendar → Map) may preserve some filters

Refreshing the page typically resets filters

Custom tab date range selections persist until changed

Best Practices

Start Broad, Then Narrow: Begin with one filter and add more as needed

Check the Badge: If results seem limited, check how many filters are active

Clear Before New Search: When starting a new task, clear all filters first

Use Presets: Save commonly used filter combinations as presets
