When to Use

Quote has been accepted

Services are complete or upon agreement

Billing is required before job completion

Creating Invoice from Quote

Method 1: From Quote Detail

Open the quote

Navigate to Invoices tab within quote

Click Create Invoice

Invoice wizard opens with quote data

Method 2: From Invoice Wizard

Open New Invoice

Select "From Quote" option

Choose the quote

Review and complete

Imported Data

Customer (auto-selected)

All line items with pricing

Discounts and fees

Notes and terms (carried over)

Quote reference linked

Modifications Allowed

After import, you can:

Add additional line items

Adjust quantities or pricing

Modify notes and terms

Change due date

Quote-Invoice Link

Invoice records source quote ID

View related invoices from quote detail

Track billing against original quote
