Not receiving notifications for job changes, overdue alerts not showing, or push notifications not working.

Overdue Badges Not Appearing

Cause: The job's scheduled date may not have passed yet, or it's already completed

Verification:

Overdue status is determined by: scheduled date has passed AND job is not completed/cancelled

Check the current date and the job's scheduled date

Push Notifications Not Received

Prerequisites:

Browser notifications must be enabled

PWA must be installed (for mobile)

Notification preferences must be enabled in settings

Solutions:

Check browser notification permissions

Verify notification settings in your profile

Ensure you're not in "Do Not Disturb" mode

Re-install the PWA if on mobile

Toast Notifications Not Showing

Cause: Toasts may auto-dismiss quickly

Solution:

They appear briefly (3-5 seconds) in the bottom-right corner

Check for any error messages in the browser console

Driver Not Receiving Assignment Alerts

Verify the driver's notification preferences are enabled

Check that the driver has a valid email/phone for notifications

Ensure push notifications are allowed on their device

Notification Badge Count Wrong

Symptom: Bell icon shows incorrect number of unread notifications

Solutions:

Refresh the page to resync

Click the bell icon to mark notifications as read

Clear browser cache if count persists incorrectly
