Receive browser push notifications when customers send new messages, even when not actively viewing the inbox.

Enabling Push Notifications

Navigate to Settings → Notifications

Find Push Notifications section

Toggle Enable Push Notifications

Allow browser permission when prompted

Permission States

Granted - Notifications will work

Denied - Blocked in browser settings

Default - Not yet decided

If Blocked

To unblock notifications:

Click lock/info icon in browser address bar

Find Notifications setting

Change from "Block" to "Allow"

Refresh page

Notification Content

Push notifications include:

Customer name

Message preview

Click to open thread directly

Notification Actions

View Message - Opens the thread

Dismiss - Closes notification
