If you're experiencing issues with filtering or search in Jobs & Dispatch, this guide helps diagnose and resolve common problems.

Issue: No Jobs Appear After Filtering

Possible Causes:

Too Many Filters: Multiple filters combined leave no matching jobs

Date Range Not Set: Advanced Search requires a date range

Wrong Date Range: Selected dates don't contain any jobs

Solutions:

Clear all filters and start fresh

Select a valid date range in Advanced Search

Widen your date range to include more data

Remove one filter at a time to identify the limiting factor

Issue: Search Not Finding Expected Job

Possible Causes:

Typo in Search Term: Check spelling

Wrong Job Number Format: Search numbers only (e.g., "2032" not "DEL-2032")

Other Filters Conflicting: Job exists but is excluded by another filter

Solutions:

Double-check your search term spelling

Try searching with just the numeric portion

Clear other filters before searching

Verify the job exists by checking without any filters

Possible Causes:

Loading State: Data is still loading

Browser Issue: Temporary glitch

Solutions:

Wait for data to finish loading

Refresh the page

Clear browser cache and retry

Issue: Export Button Disabled

Cause: No jobs match the current filter criteria (count = 0)

Solution: Adjust filters to include at least one job, then export

Issue: Driver Not Appearing in Filter List

Possible Causes:

Driver Not Active: Driver may be deactivated

No Jobs Assigned: Driver has no jobs in the system

Role Permissions: Driver may not be visible to your account

Solutions:

Check Team Management for driver status

Confirm driver has jobs assigned

Contact administrator if permissions issue

Issue: Filters Reset Unexpectedly

Cause: Page refresh or navigation between modules

Solution: Use saved presets to quickly reapply common filter combinations

General Tips

Check the Filter Badge: The number on the Filters button shows active filters

Use Clear All: When troubleshooting, start with a clean slate

Test One Filter at a Time: Identify which filter is causing issues

Refresh the Page: Resolves many temporary glitches
