Creating a Vehicle Assignment:

Go to Fleet Management → Vehicles or Dispatch → Assignments

Click + New Assignment

Select driver, vehicle, assignment period, and notes

Click Create Assignment

What Happens:

Driver sees assigned vehicle in mobile app

Vehicle is "in use" and not double-assigned

Notifications sent to driver

Modifying/Ending Assignments:

Edit or end assignments as needed

End assignment to make vehicle available again

Best Practice:

At shift end, verify all dump events are logged
