PortaPro

Run payroll where your crew already clocks in.

W-2 and 1099 payroll inside PortaPro, processed by a licensed payroll partner. Payroll is rolling out in stages, and we're turning it on company by company.

One place for the crew, their hours and their pay.

Set it up once, then run payroll from the same app your drivers use every day.

Approved hours still go to the payroll you use today.

Drivers, mechanics and office staff clock in on PortaPro. You review and approve their timesheets by pay period, with overtime sorted out, and export the approved hours as a CSV for QuickBooks Online Payroll, ADP, Paychex or the payroll you already run.

Questions operators ask

Can I turn on payroll today?

Payroll is in beta and rolling out in stages. We turn it on company by company during onboarding, so talk to us and we'll tell you when your company is next. Until then, approved timesheets export as a CSV your current payroll takes.

Who actually processes paychecks and taxes?

A licensed payroll partner runs the paychecks, direct deposits and payroll tax filings. You do the work in PortaPro, and the Payroll screen names the partner. The person who sets payroll up becomes the payroll admin and accepts the partner's terms before anything else.

Does it handle 1099 contractors?

Yes. Pay W-2 employees and 1099 contractors from the same place, or turn on Contractors only if you'll never have employees. That choice can't be changed later.

Who on my team can see payroll?

Owners and admins only. Payroll holds wages, Social Security numbers and bank accounts, so dispatchers, drivers and mechanics never see it. It's on the Growth plan.
