With recording on, every transmission lands on the Radio page with who said it, on which channel, and how many people heard it. Filter to one channel to read a crew's morning in order. Turn on transcription and the words are there too.

Questions operators ask
Does it work with Bluetooth buttons, or with the phone locked?
Not yet on hardware buttons. Today you key up with the talk bar on screen, or hold the spacebar on a computer; hardware buttons are on our roadmap. And voice plays while PortaPro is open on the phone or in a browser tab. It's a radio inside the app, not a background service.
What happens when a driver keys up with no signal?
With recording on, the transmission is saved on the phone and delivered when coverage comes back, marked Delivered late so nobody mistakes it for live.
Do we have to keep recordings?
No. Turn Record audio off and it is live voice only: nothing is saved on the phone or anywhere else. Leave it on and you choose how long clips are kept, from 30 days to 2 years. Transcription is a separate switch, off by default, because it adds a per-minute transcription cost.
Which plan includes it, and what if someone is on a phone call?
The radio is part of the Growth plan. An admin turns it on in Settings, and the talk bar appears for everyone. When you take a business phone call in PortaPro, the radio pauses so the two don't fight over the microphone, and comes back when the call ends.
