Septic pumping service report template

A septic pumping report your technicians can fill on site.

What the homeowner, the next technician and the county want to know after a pump-out: the tank, what was in it, how many gallons came out, what condition it's in, and where the waste went. Print a stack for the truck, or copy it into your own form.

Septic Tank Pumping Service Report

Many counties require their own pumping or hauling form. Use this report alongside that form, not instead of it, and check your local requirements.

Three things that make it hold up.

  1. Measure the scum and sludge layers before you pump. They're what tells the homeowner whether the next pump-out should come sooner.
  2. Fill the manifest section at the receiving facility, not later from memory. It's the record that shows where the waste went.
  3. Give the customer a copy and keep one with the job. The next technician at that address starts from it.

The same paperwork, without the paper.

The same report, on the technician's phone

PortaPro comes with a septic pumping report covering tank and access, pre-pump assessment, pumping service, condition and findings, waste manifest and disposal, recommendations and signatures. Answers, photos and signatures save on the phone and sync when the truck is back in range.

Gallons on the job, billed the way you price

A service priced per gallon invoices from the measured number. The job stamps the tank's last-serviced date, and recorded gallons tighten its next pump-out.

Your county's own form, filled from the job

Upload the county's PDF once and place its fields. PortaPro fills the gallons line and the rest from the job, and the finished PDF looks exactly like the original.

Questions

What goes on a septic pumping report?

The customer and site, the tank's size and access, the scum and sludge levels before pumping, gallons pumped, what was cleaned or replaced, the tank's condition, the waste manifest and receiving facility, recommendations, and signatures.

Does this replace my county's septic form?

No. Many counties require their own pumping or hauling form. Use this report for the customer and your records, and file the county's form as required.

Can technicians fill this out on a phone?

In PortaPro, yes. The pumping report is one of the forms every account starts with, it works without signal, and the homeowner signs on the phone beside the technician.

Send it, sign it, and file it in one place.
